“Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.” –Mahatma Gandhi
By tirelessly and relentlessly focusing international attention wherever rights are violated, Human Rights Watch gives a powerful voice to the oppressed and helps make justice possible where there was none before. Day to day, week to week, year to year, there are injustices in the world that can only be made right by exposing the truth.
Our work has been successful in the past and will be successful in the future because of the partnership and support of our donors who have made a financial commitment to Human Rights Watch.
In addition to immediate gifts, there are a number of ways you can support Human Rights Watch in the future. These options, called planned gifts, are outlined in more detail in the following pages.
Planned gifts can take many forms, but the simplest way to make one is through a bequest in your will or estate plans. Gifts through your retirement plans or life insurance are other options. There are also ways to give that feature income back to you or your loved ones. Most of these types of gifts feature tax benefits and all make an impact on the work we do.
There will always be an urgent need to defend and protect human rights. You can have an impact on how we are able to respond to those needs—and expose the truth—in the future.
